Lynn, Certified Veterinary Technician
- Lynn moved to Colorado 12 years ago from Illinois. She graduated from
Bel-Rea in September 2004 and has been at Centennial Valley Animal Hospital
since March of 2004.
Lynn’s part of being here is
working with the clients, always learning, and nursing care of her patients.
Lynn spends her time outside work
reading, shopping, and hanging out with her family. Lynn has a very
spoiled Golden-doodle named Oliver Wyatt; and two cats, Charley and Makalu.
Nicole, Certified Veterinary Technician
- Nicole is a Colorado native. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute
of Veterinary Technology in June 2011, and also did her internship with us
before her graduation.
Nicole’s favorite part about
being at CVAH is getting to see and take care of all the exotic animals that
come in.
When she isn’t working, Nicole enjoys
reading and going for drives in the mountains with her twin sister. She has
two cats; Kenpachi, who she adopted from the S.A.I.N.T. fund, and Keesa.
Shannon, Certified Veterinary Technician
- Shannon started with us as a receptionist in 2007 to gain experience in
the animal world while obtaining her degree in Animal Technology.
Shannon received her degree in 2009 and then began her career as a CVT.
She really enjoys bonding with the
animals and getting to know their owners.
Shannon has 2 canine companions,
Sophie and Maddie. She spends her spare time with her boyfriend
doing outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and snow shoeing.
Stacie, Certified Veterinary Technician
- Stacie is originally from upstate New York. She graduated from
Bel-Rea Institute in 1998. She worked in an Emergency and Critical
Care Animal hospital for 8 years and also worked in a cancer research
facility for 3 years concentrating on canine melanoma and hemangiosarcoma.
Her work was published in the Journal of Veterinary Pathology and
Cancer Gene Therapy.
Stacie’s favorite part of
being a CVT is helping animals through our S.A.I.N.T fund that otherwise
might not get a second chance at a happy life.
Her hobbies include cooking Italian
food, wine tasting, and anything that brings out her creative side.
Stacie lives with her Husband, son, and two cats named Charlie and Lola.
Wendy, Certified Veterinary Technician
- Wendy is a recent graduate from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology.
Not only has she been a client of CVAH for many years, she did her
internship prior to graduation with us. She has been working at the
hospital since September 2010.
Wendy is a loyal cat lover. It
is no surprise that she has two male cats named Moose who was nicknamed at
the clinic as “Gentle Giant”, and Lion-O is his own superhero and a force to
be reckoned with. She also loves her parent’s fur child dog named
Sirus.
Wendy chose to work with animals when
her beloved cat Lion-O had a cat bite abscess and brought him to CVAH to be
treated. Not only was she impressed with the entire staff involved, she
really loved taking care of him after his surgery and thought that she would
love to work in this profession. What Wendy likes most about working at
CVAH are the stories of how an owner and beloved pet came to be a family.
