Kathy, Book keeper
- Kathy moved to Colorado in 1978
from Maine to be closer to the mountains
Kathy’’s hobbies include
biking, hiking, skiing, and skijoring with her 2 Labradors; Jack and Cody.
In addition to Jack and Cody, Kathy and Butch share their home with
3 cats, 3 horses, a flock of hens and Mango, the cherry-headed conure.
Kathy happily spends time volunteering
for Safe Harbor Labrador Rescue as well as the Sport Department at Children’s
Hospital.
Jessica, Client Service Specialist
- Starting here in
December 2010, Jess is our newest smiling face. She has always wanted
to work with animals and she enjoys seeing all the different pets that the
hospital brings. She enjoys being a part of the team and being involved
with something she believes in.
She owns a yellow Labrador named
Charlie. She has 3 children so most of her free time is spent caring
for them. When the opportunity arises, she enjoys reading, hiking and
listening to music.
Judy, Client Service Specialist
- CVAH has had the
pleasure of calling Judy an employee since September 2005. She has
always loved animals and wanted to learn more about veterinary medicine and
how to help them stay healthy.
She has 1 dog, 3 cats and 1 husband
(they all drive her nuts). Judy spends her extra time doing almost
anything artistic, gardening, and playing with power tools in her garage.
Pepper, Client Service Specialist
- Pepper started with
CVAH in January 2008. She moved here from Kansas in 2006. Pepper
loves interacting with the clients and playing a role in the health and
well-being of their furry family members.
When she is away from the office, she
enjoys spending time with her husband and their feline friends.
Jamie, Exam Room Assistant
- Jamie has worked at
CVAH off and on since October 2000. She started working with us when
she was only in high school. Working with all the variety of animals
is her favorite aspect of working for us. She claims to be a
life-long student as she is currently attending her fourth University!
She lives with 3 dogs, 4 cats (two of
whom were adopted from the S.A.I.N.T. fund) and 2 turtles (also from our
S.A.I.N.T. fund). She enjoys spending time with her family (both
furried and not), going to the mountains, reading, and gardening.
Mireia, Exam Room Assistant
- Mireia has been with
CVAH since March 2008. On a sunny Colorado day you can find Mireia
walking her doggies, photographing the Colorado wildlife, or in the stands
at a Mammoth game. However if it is snowing out, then a good book next
to the fireplace is just what the Doctor ordered.
She is “owned” by two beautiful pups;
Nugget, a strong-minded yet extremely sweet Chinook and Spike, a very loving
“Heinz 57”.
Kelly, Technician Assistant
- Kelly started working
at Centennial Valley Animal Hospital in February 2010. Kelly grew up in
Illinois. She has moved to a few different states over the years.
She settled back in Colorado with her
husband Jeff. Kelly lives in Longmont with her husband and Lynn her
sister and her animals.
Levi, Technician Assistant
- Levi was a volunteer
with us for the majority of his freshman year of high school. As a
volunteer he mainly looked after the boarding patients and did some cleaning.
He became an employee in 2009.
As an employee he now enjoys helping with appointments, and is involved with
hands-on experience. He is appreciative of his time here and is excited
for all the experiences yet to come.
Madi, Technician Assistant
- Madi started working at
Centennial Valley Animal Hospital in May 2008. When she was four years old
her mother asked her for the first time what she wanted to be when she grew up,
and she answered “veterinarian”. Madi wanted to work at CVAH to see if she
truly wanted to be a veterinarian, instead of it just being a dream that had
never been explored. She loves to watch surgeries, give meds, as well as do
jobs that are out of routine.
She has two tuxedo cats named Mittens and
GoGo Boots, a rat named Squeaks, and a gerbil named Muffin. After
graduating high school she hopes to go to CSU. Madi loves to do Arial dance
on a low flying trapeze, read, and watch sci-fi.
Sarah, Technician Assistant
- Sarah started volunteering
at CVAH the summer of 2009 and was hired shortly after. Ever since she was
little, Sarah wanted to work with animals, so she was thrilled to be offered the
position of Assistant Veterinary Technician. She especially loves the
hands-on experience she’s been getting with all sorts of animals.
Sarah is enjoying her Junior year of high
school. She has 3 cats and 1 dog. During her spare time she enjoys
playing the flute or just spending time with friends.
Sierra, Technician Assistant
- Sierra joined our team in
2010. She loves caring for animals with her mom, Dr. Rickford.
She is a sophomore in high school and
enjoys the swim team and drama. She recently adopted a bearded dragon
named Norbert. She plans to attend the University of Northern Colorado and
study Elementary Education.
