Dr. Lisa Barlow
- Dr. Barlow was raised in Layton, Utah. For as long as she can remember,
she wanted to be a veterinarian! She did her undergraduate work at
Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and entered Colorado State University's
veterinary medicine program in August of 1981. She graduated from
CSU in 1985.
After working at a couple of practices, she opened
Centennial Valley Animal Hospital, PC in April of 1989. She likes
all aspects of veterinary practice, but especially internal medicine, behavior
and exotics (ferrets, reptiles and birds).
She and her husband share their home with 1 dog,
3 cats, 2 birds, 1 rabbit and 1 tortoise. When she is away from practice,
she enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, reading and visiting friends and family. |

Dr. Virginia Rickford
- Dr. Rickford moved to Colorado when she was ten years old. She
did her undergraduate study in microbiology at Colorado State University
and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in May 1996.
After graduation, she started her career at a small animal practice in
Denver and then joined Centennial Valley Animal Hospital, PC in July 1997.
She thinks the best part of veterinary medicine
is the variety of animals that come to the hospital everyday. Her
professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and
avian medicine. She also enjoys educating the community and children
through career days and the girl scouts.
She spends her free time at home with her husband,
3 children, 3 dogs, 2 cats and 1 bird. |
